Our interdenominational gatherings with less than one year-old history are based upon the great promise of the Bible, "I will gather." But we have submitted to this word of promise ten years ago, the churches of our denomination have been already carrying out the so-called 'Our gatherings to Him', which also were actually interdenominational gatherings. All Christian religions have been a part of the ecumenical movement for more than a hundred years. The idea of "prayer breakfasts" developing for 60 years brings together representatives of governments of almost all countries, influential people of all countries and representatives of all religions. There are also every possible symposia of believers and nonbelievers, conferences, summits and other contacts on a variety of themes and goals. Probably, the divine promise "I will gather" has a tremendous power over all believers who confess Jesus Christ and over all the mankind in general.

But we all need to get some enlightenment and clarity from God in order to walk in truth in all events and trends of the last time because both divine and antidivine powers are related to the promise "I will gather". So it is said in Revelation, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." Besides, the prophets of the Bible talk about various functions of the promise "I will gather." On the one hand, God promised to gather all nations as "a dwelling for His name" so that all the people might serve the Lord. On the other hand, God promised to gather all the nations "with a mighty hand, and with fury poured out for the judgment ".God promised to accept the people of God "as a sweet smelling aroma," promised to "be hallowed in them before the Gentiles." But He also promised to "gather and blow on them with the fire of His wrath and fury, and melt them in the midst of the furnace as silver, copper, iron, lead and tin." The purpose of it is the highest word of the Bible, "then you shall know that I am the Lord." In short, the great divine promise "I will gather" is one of the most important purposes of God, not only for his people in recent years, but in general for all of God's creation; there is the whole purpose of creation of the space, the earth and the mankind in this promise of God. This promise implies the returning of all Creation back to God as to their Creator, it implies God's kingdom. Christ said about this mission of gathering of Creation in the bosom of the Father, "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself". So great is God's promise, "I will gather". But there are so many shades of meaning in this promise that it would be right to devote a solid spiritual research and a voluminous preaching to this topic. The given preaching, I hope, can partially solve this problem. Get ready for listening.

Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.' Cause Your mighty ones to go down there." Joel prophesied about the valley of Jehoshaphat, expressing the purpose of God's struggling for His people - Israel. And first of all these words referred to the First Coming of Christ. If Israel accepted Jesus as their Messiah, God would have fought with all the enemies of Israel - the world paganism, the Romans and all the forces of hell. But Israel did not accept Christ and now the words of Joel mostly refer to our time, «When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations»; and today the Jews have returned from the captivity where they were scattered, the meaning of the words is literal. Similarly, this idea is expressed in the words of the New Testament. The Revelation of John says that the opposing Divine and antidivine forces will be gathered the for the battle in the place called in Hebrew Armageddon. So it is written, "Spirits of demons go out to the kings of the earth to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." It is written that this would happen in Jerusalem which is consonant with the valley of Jehoshaphat, according to the prophecy of Joel. But how can one gather "all nations" in the valley of Jehoshaphat? This day the Jews perform all their deeds on all continents of the earth; it's impossible to gather them in the valley of Jehoshaphat. Therefore, there is a correction: the valley of Jehoshaphat is the Internet, and it is also any representational place on the earth, where "all nations" gather in the name of Christ. Today in the Internet as well as at prayer breakfasts and Christian summits, at ecumenical meetings and religious conferences of any level this prophecy of Joel is fulfilled in the words "I will gather" for the great works of God in recent years.

Today this prophecy responds to the most important question for all peoples; humanity has met a global phenomenon these days, identified by the word "New Epoch" or "New World Order." There even appeared a term "time compression" when great perturbations, a quantum jump are taking place in humanity; when it moves into another dimension and existence, into the realities of higher level. The ideologists of the "time compression» concept say, "The entire Universe breathes and pulsates, compression and extension go on. We have come to the end point of the compression, after which the expansion of Consciousness will start in a different dimension, in its new quality." But we say that the key to the entrance of this New Epoch is precisely in this prophecy of Joel, in the promise of God "I will gather." A New Epoch is the End of the World, as Christ said, "the end of the age", i.e. the completion of the previous cycle of human existence and the beginning of a new one. This is Apocalypse, the Age of Aquarius with all its laws. This is the accession of Jewish Messiah who will appear as the Antichrist. This is also the Second Coming of Christ. A great variety of great events!

Christ specified both a gathering place and the essence of this spiritual war, He said, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the death." That is, the war of Armageddon, the war manifested in rejecting of Christ and implanting of the Antichrist . But Christ said about this phenomenon in lofty words, "we are going up", as this is the road of ascent. As it was with Christ, when «the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem», i.e. to go to a spiritual battle, so all his followers should also steadfastly set their faces to do the same as they approach the day of the Lord. There is a fire ahead and behind, wherever you go - the fire is everywhere. But this is the road of ascent.

The Valley of Jehoshaphat is the battle of Armageddon according to the prophecy of Joel and is in fact the battle for Worshiping One God. The words "Worshiping One God" are also based upon the great words of promise "I will gather." But the prophet Joel, prophesying about the valley and about gathering of the nations in it, did not exalt the valley itself, neither did he exalt Jerusalem, but the valley and the city are exalted by the Temple, or rather, exalted by the essence of the Temple, as it was said of Him: "You shall worship before this altar." That is, God through the prophet Joel declared the necessity of gathering for the sake of the words "Worshiping One God" in the last times and for all nations. The whole essence of the knowledge of God on the earth comes to the knowledge of One God, the whole Bible comes to the words, "And you shall know that I am the Lord." The commandment - God is One is the first and the last commandment of the entire and total God's will. Moses gave the commandment of One God as the first one. Elijah built an altar of 12 stones, representing the image of Israel in One God and he was counted worthy of catching up because he had "done all these things at God's word." Christ declared that He had manifested God's name to the men, the name of One God. There is nothing more exalted than the knowledge of the name of God - One God. Just for this reason the apostles commanded God's people to come to the unity of faith and knowledge, it is the only way to reach glorious salvation. Therefore, all powers of hell are directed against Worshiping One God and against the unity of faith and knowledge, while divisions of all Christian confessions show defeat of God's people in the battle of Armageddon.

That is why, in our time the word of the Gospel - Unity in the Body of Christ - is the supreme will of God; and the promising entrance into the New Epoch, into the New Order of the World created by God Himself, a free entrance into the kingdom of God is opened for every person just through the acceptance of this word. The glorious salvation is achieved only due to the knowledge of God's name and Worshiping One God. So great is the promise of God "I will gather" in the name of One God. "There prepare the Passover for Me", Christ told His disciples, and sent them to the symbol of a man with a pitcher of water. The pitcher of water is The Age of Aquarius. But the image of Worshiping One true God is also a reason for the war of Armageddon, to which God has now drawn all the Universe lines of force and all members of Creation. And the greatness of the valley of Jehoshaphat, as a symbol, is very large and important in God's plans for this day; as well as the symbols of Jerusalem and the Temple are not diminished over the years, but become more significant. And, surely, the image of the Church of Jesus Christ, as the image of His One Body is exalted by God over all. The essence of this prophecy of Joel, as a great revelation for the last time, reveals the following idea for the people of God - that not all manifestations of life of God's people and their works are pleasing to God, but God has provided a very specific life activity plan for His people and their perfection before His coming. If people can understand and perceive this plan of God and fulfill it precisely, then only such actions will be called by God the true ministry, as a result of which He will send blessing, liberty, protection, salvation and other promises to His people.
